Roy Remer, Executive Director of the Zen Hospice Project, will guide participants through the foundations of Caregiver Education. Based on 30 years of direct bedside experience, Zen Hospice Project’s curriculum has empowered hundreds of clinicians, professional caregivers, family members, informal caregivers, volunteers, administrators and operational staff whose mindful caregiving skills have touched thousands of patients' lives, expanding cultural awareness and perceptions of the end-of-life experience.

If you would like to apply to be a presenter at Ever Presence or would like to suggest someone to our Advisory Committee, please fill out the form below to get in touch with us.
Presenters prepare a 20-30 minute talk about anything related to death and dying and living well. They come from all backgrounds including (but not limited to) medicine, hospice and palliative care, spiritual, artistic, and legal.
Presenters from last year included: an end of life doula, an influential physician and poet from Brazil, a non-profit director who works with children who have critical illnesses, the director of a well-known hospice program in San Francisco, a documentarian who interviews women on the threshold of death, a medical student, a chaplain, the director of a meditation center, and more.
